Kerbside Green Ale
We're pleased to announce the birth of our very own beer, brewed by Bridestone's Brewing in Blackshaw Head. At £20 for a case of 12 bottles it's a great way to raise a glass for Kerbside. To buy the beer or for more information contact: paul@kerbside.org.uk.
Having returned from our residential week in north Devon we've put together a short video from some of our photos. Many thanks to the Community Foundation For Calderdale, which helped us with funding of £5,814 towards this trip.
About Wash And Grow
Wash and Grow is a project which works within Kerbside (Calderdale) to promote and develop "good" recycling. The project is made up of 12 volunteers and two paid staff and has so far developed the following new services for kerbside:
* Recycling mobile phones
* Providing a service where people are able to buy recycled clothes and other items
* Forming a partnership with an African village to help create work opportunities in the village, and to supply recycled goods
* Give training to individuals on work skills, basic skills and computers
There are a number of ways you can become involved in the project:
